Functionality
The purpose of this equipment is to improve water quality particularly in the winter months. The water clarifier will be pump fed from an existing raw water line. The raw water line starts at reclaim dam, whereby raw water is pumped from an existing reclaim barge to a plant water tank. Reclaim booster pumps pump the raw water to a process water tank which feeds plant water pumps. Plant water pumps feed the filtered water system which ties in with the water clarifier. Treated (effluent) water produced by the water clarifier will gravity flow to the Treated Water (Effluent) Storage Tank and will be pumped by a new Treated Water (Effluent) Pump to an existing Filtered Water Tank. The water clarifier will consume anionic polymer (flocculant), ferric sulfate, microsands and sodium hydroxide.
