SHELL INTERNALS: 12 bolted removeable longitudinal lifters. Spiral flite infeed 4′ long approx

SHELL SEALS: Bellows seals at each end.

SHELL SUPPORTS: Trunnions and rollers w/dead shaft [Timken internal taper roller brg type] 16″ dia x 7″ wide drive/inlet end,

16″ dia x 12″ wide at floating/discharge end, 12″ x 2″ thrust rollers. Skid mounted system, unitized frame.

HEATING: 16 @ N American NG Mdl. 4442-4 gas burners, 540,000BTU/hr ea, w/10:1 turndown, pilot ignited and

monitored with weather resistant UV detectors, 4 per zone mounted horizontal. Total 8,640,000Btu/hr.

Fuel consumption 930CCFh. Heated section under shroud w/4″ @18″ dia flanged flue gas discharge

nozzles, vertical. Internal injection lance 6′ long at cooling end.

MAX-TUBE TEMPERATURE: 1800°F/950 deg C approx.

PRODUCT TEMP PRIOR SVC: 1800°F approx.

ZONES: 4 heating zones, 45′ 6″long total. [Originally 3 heating zones 32′ 6″long & 1 @ 13’6″cooling zones] 4th

heating zone section conversion replaces cooling zone, new fabricated shroud & refractory brick lining, 4

burners identical to existing with controls.

DRIVEN BY: 30HP 3/60/230-460V 1750 RPM, XP, w/18hp gas engine back up, via Dodge Para Flex coupling to

Dodge TCR6 inline reducer, 20 RPM output. Cutler Hammer AC variable frequency inverter, SS NEMA 4

control panel with purge system.

DRIVEN VIA: Direct drive to gear reducer to Bullgear & pinion drive. Variable speed controller, 0.5-3 RPM drum final

speed.

CAPACITY: Dependent on product, rpm, slope, heat input etc.

PRIOR SERVICE: Refinery waste. Previously catalyst, 420CFH [10TPH] Continuous throughput, partial vacuum

environment. Varies with product, moisture content, residence time etc. over 5000PPH est with 30min

residence time.

COMMENTS: 3 control panels in a 10′ x 20′ portable room. Skid mounted. [13’7″ W  w/drive attached]. Not installed. 9′

feed screw conveyor. 6″ Vent gas discharge at feed end. Originally had an air sweep lance, 6″dia,

entering calciner at discharge end, centerline w/4 perpendicular outlet nozzles to sweep inner shell surface

every 10 ft, removed. Frame can be inclined up to 20″ high at feed end, via pivoting foot plates

and adjustable lock bolt jacks, 12′ 2″ oah. Spares-unused 2 sets rollers, a front & a rear.
